Perspective: The Mission & Evangelism Conference is taking place on Saturday 12th November, 2022 at Kingsgate Church in Peterborough. Join us as we reframe, refocus, rejuvenate, and do a re-take on effective mission and evangelism.  Now is the time to take the hope of Jesus afresh to our nation. We’re all recovering from the shaking of the past few years of pandemic and now facing the shock waves from the war in Ukraine and Brexit. Normal seems to have slipped away like a mirage and we’re left with the question that resonated with people across the UK- “Will everything be ok?”. This question was in the Talking Jesus research that has just been published. It also shows that people are more open to conversations about Jesus than they were in 2015 when the previous research was undertaken. in 2022 1 in 3 people, after having a conversation with a Christian that they know, want to know more. This is great news for the church today. 

We understand that we have all been through the trauma of the last few years. Church leaders are tired, church communities are stretched BUT now is the time to dig deep and offer the hope of Jesus to all those who have, amidst the challenges, have been left searching for answers. It’s time. We need to see things from a new perspective. It’s our time to together reframe, refocus, retake and rejuvenate.
